This is the final scene of a series I made, then I put them together in a video with sound to make a cartoon version of it on Asinine3 Comics. It was sort of like what Cheesemeister was talking about little accomplishments coming together to form larger ones. First I made a photoshop picture. Then put several pictures together to form a moving gif. Then put the gifs together to form a movie. I guess anything is done by piecemeal.
